Alarm Screen Features
For security professionals seeking a full perimeter security solution for their customers, our patented alarm screens offer the convenience of windows and doors wide open while the alarm system is armed. Each screen is custom engineered to your exact specifications using our exclusive technology with no splices in the conductor loops. The result is a screen of incomparable integrity and quality… guaranteed!
Patented Continuous Circuit
A patented single continuous solid silver plated copper wire is interwoven into the screen mesh vertically with no splices in the conductor loops. Any attempt to cut the circuit or unplug or remove the screen will activate the alarm.
Two Prong Lead
A 2-wire pluglead connector with gold-plated contact pins for maximum electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Connects via hardwire or wireless transmitter.
Slotted Lead
An additional pluglead style that is recessed into the screen frame channel to conceal the leadwire from an intruder's view. Common for sliding windows and other applications where a concealed lead is desired. Connects via hardwire or wireless transmitter.
Standard Security Tamper
A high durability tamper switch sealed in the screen frame and activated by a magnet enclosed in plastic casing for long range environmental stability.
Recessed Sentrol Tamper
An additional available tamper style that is recessed into the screen frame and activated by a tubular magnet hidden from an intruder's view. Common for sliding windows and other applications where a concealed tamper is desired.
Marine Guard
A "ocean proof" clear plastic sealant applied to the alarm screen and component parts to prevent corrosion in marine, salt water and other corrosive environments.
Extruded Aluminum Frame
A heavy duty tubular aluminum screen frame with corrosion resistant baked on enamel finish available in white, silver or bronze colors. We can also rewire existing screen frames.
Bonded Spline
A specially ribbed spline with multiple pressure points is sealed with an all-weather synthetic cement along the spline channel to protect all wire contacts and maximize circuit integrity.
One Year Limited Warranty
New alarm screens manufactured by Maxwell are warranted to the original purchaser against defective materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date inscribed near pluglead on the screen frame under normal use and service. Maxwell's obligation is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, of an alarm screen or component part(s) proven to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and service. This warrenty is void if the product is altered, improperly repaired or serviced by anyone other than Maxwell or damaged by accident, unreasonable use or abuse, neglect, improper installation or other causes not arising out of defects in material and workmanship. Any alarm screen damaged by exposure to water or ocean corrosive environments is not covered by warranty unless marine guard option is purchased at time of manufacture. Normal wear and tear is excluded from warranty coverage.
