Maxwell is a family owned business founded in 1977. It began as a manufacturer of custom alarm screens for the electronic security industry. Our first location was a small facility in Santa Monica, California. The success of our patented alarm screen technology allowed us to move to larger headquarters in West Los Angeles in 1980.
The company soon rented office space to a small printing business and saw an opportunity to grow its business by offering custom security signs and decals to its customers. When it purchased the printing business it became an early pioneer in the field of custom printed security graphics. Today that company is the Maxwell Sign & Decal Division.
Thanks to our customers and dedicated employees, our growth has continued over the years and we now occupy a 28,000 square foot facility in Chatsworth, California where we design, manufacture and distribute all of our products.
The company established a high standard when we adopted our mission statement to exceed our customer's expectations on every job.
